Hello Parents,
We are finishing up are last week of our geography theme. We’ve talked about and drawn different types of Landforms. We are lucky enough to have most of the landforms in our back yard. Its was great to talk about where we have seen Canyons, Valleys, Masa and Mountains. Most of the kids shared about how they have been to most of theses in person.
The letter of the week is “N” which amazingly brought us to the word Nocturnal because are zoo phonics animal was nightly the Night owl. I love it when the kids become intrigued by a new word! Nocturnal was a great discussion to have at circle. along with talking about what animals are nocturnal. We also had a discussion about the “unicorn of the sea” as one child called it, the Narwhal.
