CONSTRUCTION

Lots of building and wrecking this week!! It’s also been a great opportunity to work on that impulse control with wrecking and destroying structures. Our rule of thumb at school is that if you built it, then you get to destroy it but friends can always ask to help because sometimes the answer could be YES! I love seeing this group of kids absolutely thriving in friendship skills. At Rainbow we learn through play so choice time is the perfect time for Corey & I to sit down and help navigate situations that may feel tricky. I’m also noticing some cheerleaders!! If a friend sees another friend accomplishing something or being praised, they’ll come up and congratulate…my heart bursts! Really such an empathetic group of friends this year!

Im figuring out that this app isn’t in love with me uploading 20+ pictures at a time so I'm going to strive to be better at sending you some pics personally of your child. I know how special it is to know what they’re up to and to see them interacting with their friends! Also, be sure to follow the private Rainbow Instagram page for more in time posts.

Thank you to everyone that made the Family Engagement Event at the pumpkin patch the most successful one to date!! What a blast watching everyone run around together!
