DR. SEUSS

Our Dr. Seuss theme is always a favorite because of his beloved books but not all of them are written by him, but edited by him instead. They’re still classic favorites that we’ve chosen to go along with the study!

We had a Fox in Socks day where we sorted socks for class time and designed socks for art. We’ve made truffla trees, played pin the hat on the cat, did a green eggs and ham activity along with more!

We had storytime, hip hop and yoga last week so we didn’t have a much art but we are making up for that this week. You might’ve heard about our monthly drills. We have a fire drill where our route is to go to the garage, our tornado drill where we go to the basement, and our active shooter drill (which we are calling an outside emergency) where we go into the bathrooms and bolt the doors. We are trying to keep this lighthearted as to not scare anyone…just prepared for inside/outside emergencies.

What a great way to end the week with powder!! Yay! Have a great weekend!
