Hello parents,
This week starts our Wild West theme. We have talked about clothing that was worn and the type of structures that existed back in the wild west. We have also discussed things that didn't exist at that time too. For art, we have designed our own cowboy/cowgirl boots. Made our own sheriff badges. Sierra turned 5 this week, so we got to celebrate her birthday on Monday. Our letter of the week is “X”, I have been using most words that end with X so that the kids can hear the sound the letter makes. The letter of the week has surprisingly brought forth an interest in making treasure maps “X marks the spot”
